Is litsea cubeba oil supply seasonal? How do you manage availability?
The raw berries are harvested once a year (July to September in Jiangxi, the core producing area), but we manage year-round availability through pre-season contracting and warehoused stocks. Because Jiangxi alone accounts for roughly 45% of world production, buyers who lock in volume before the harvest get the best pricing; spot buyers still find stock, but prices are firmer out of season.
