In which solvents and bases is this wintersweet oil soluble?

The oil is soluble in ethanol and fixed oils and insoluble in water, in line with the general essential-oil solubility assessment of GB/T 14455.3-2008 (modified from ISO 875).

Solubility

• Pre-dissolve in alcohol or the oil phase before blending
• Use an appropriate solubilizer when formulating aqueous systems (sprays, toners)
• For creams and lotions, add to the oil phase before emulsification

Solubility is verified per batch according to the current GB/T 14454.3 evaluation method.
